Northern Quarter Action Group is a cooperative partnership brought together under a bold vision for Manchester's Northern Quarter - one which is greener, builds our communities, and enhances what’s special about the NQ.

OUR JOURNEY
Born in 2019, Northern Quarter Action Group came together through a common desire to support the social, environmental and economic sustainability of the area. Having agreed on a shared mission, we have been working in partnership since to translate this mission into reality.

In 2021, the group ratified a formal constitution which sets out the objectives of the group and the formal structure create to achieve those goals. You can read more here > Constitution
WHATS HAPPENING?
Our work so far has focussed on two key areas: putting people back at the heart of the Northern Quarter through car-free streets, and bringing more nature into the neighborhood through greening.
